We created a line of Surprisingly Painless gift-giving-type things to take the pain out of holiday gifting. And, we gave it away for free because paying for things is painful, too.
Dennis Quaid helped us get the word out and drove people to our website, where we ran out of stuff in just a few hours.
The line included honest greeting cards, gift boxes, bags and tags plus wrapping paper with Dennis Quaid’s face on it.
We also took the pain out wrapping presents with pop-up shops/wrapping stations in New York and Chicago where we gave away Surprisingly Painless Gifting stuff and wrapped presents for free.
The news and industry pubs liked the idea, including Adage, The Drum, ABC and Fox sharing the news.
Also, people who “bought” online actually shared our honest share-tweet, which basically never happens.
